The decor is awesome feels like a different time period and such good taste right down to the ceiling fans. Large bar and seating area - the bar being equipped with the most experienced bar staff you're ever gonna tangle with. Super helpful, knowledgeable and efficient. I was served by a guy named Joe and he was top notch and classy. The entire staff blew my mind as they were so good at their jobs and fun to talk to . The food - The deep dish pizza is higher than a cheese cake , I saw one go by and almost got whiplash. One slice is a meal it's one of the most impressive I have seen. The focaccia is made in house and should definitely be one of your appetizers. Also the broccolini was sautéed to perfection. Also a thin crust is offered which is very Rome like and hard to find in the city . It's cracker thin and the vegetarian one was delicious and still enough for two . This place is a banger I would add more stars if allowable as I was very impressed- (Although I found out too late they apparently have some impossible and vegan pepperoni options .

Came here around 8 pm on a Saturday. Seemed to just miss the rush surprisingly. Ambiance was cool and the booths would be great for a large group. Cracker thin pizza was excellent. We got half bootlegger half Cal Italia. Probably won't go anywhere else for sit down pizza after this.

Out with friends for a night on the town in San Francisco, and we overestimated how late a different venue would be open, and suddenly we found ourselves on the hunt for some late night carbs - no better place than North Beach I suppose. Greeting by exceptionally friendly staff as soon as we walked in, thick Detroit style encrusted pizzas on just about every table. We ordered a white / veggie feta Detroit style pizza and a Chicago style sausage pizza. Both were fantastic. If you're worried about needing to leave room for dessert, you can have your cake and eat it too - the Budino will melt around your food and into the crevices left in your otherwise totally full tum tum. Tip your server!

The ambience was cool Also, the food was cool too. I could possibly recommend Chicago deep dish pizza. It was so nice for two people. 8 inch pizza is not too small for two people. We even left the other one. But also we grabbed it for togo and we're still eatting it. It is still nice.

Still one of my favorite places to eat in the city. Super accomodating of my weird seating situation where I happened to forget I was bringing two more people with me. Great bartender delicious cocktails and fantastic wine and service. Yes they serve pizza but their appetizers, bar, salad, and pastas are all really nice

We came to Capo's for the first time to celebrate my fiancé's birthday and had the most exceptional experience. Grace and Ora provided wonderful service, and for dessert, served a delicious cannoli with a birthday candle (free of charge) which was so special, and quite the surprise. The deep dish margarita red top pizza: 10/10 (the sauce is truly so flavorful and fresh). We love the ambiance too: classic exposed brick walls and luxurious red leather seating, black and white photos of Al Capone. We can't wait to come back and try Detroit Style pizza next.

This place feels local...the ambiance, the people & HH etc. The staff made us feel comfortable right from the start on a busy Thursday night when the 49ers were playing. Got a spot at the bar, bartender gave us time to settle in, introduced himself, showed us the HH menu (which i feel we don't see a lot of anymore). He explained the history of the restaurant and the 3 different styles of pizza. Had great conversation with a local couple at the bar then a business traveler. Food great (got the cracker thin motor head) conversation great. Very fulfilling night!
